What tasks did we face?

The customer came to us to create an application for food delivery from restaurants. The task is ambitious, because in this area there are already well-known companies with which it is very difficult to compete, starting from scratch. How to attract the attention of users and acquire a loyal audience? Our answer is to offer the best service! More features and functionality need to be added to the app, both for food ordering users and restaurant representatives.

Another important aspect of developing a new app is design. It should be understandable, convenient and pleasant - so that you want to return to the application. The third point is the server part. Since the application works throughout Russia, it is necessary to provide storage and quick access to an extensive database of restaurants, users and orders.

Our product combines several functionalities at once. The first one is user. With it, you can order food or book a table in a restaurant. The second is administrative. Through it, managers of partner institutions process incoming applications. The third is intended for chefs who receive specific information about orders and the time of their execution.

Project prototypes

The prototype in a schematic form shows how the screens of the future application will look like. At the prototyping stage, it is important to show the logic of user interaction with the interface. The appearance of the elements is being finalized later.

How does the application work?

Favorites function, search by dishes and establishments, convenient filter

The user can add his favorite cafes and restaurants to the "Favorites" section, so as not to waste time searching for them on the Main. A convenient filter and search function allow you to quickly find the desired dish among a variety of proposals.

Map with establishments nearby, promotions, new establishments, interesting events

In the app, you can find places near you, order your favorite food at a discount, and stay up to date with all the events in the world of food.

Convenient order card with different tags

We have created 7 order statuses so that the user can comfortably track the process of preparing and delivering food. in addition, in each card you can view the details of the order, contact support and place an order again.

When entering the page, the user can immediately see the rating of the restaurant, the average time and cost of delivery. Inside the card there is a “Favorites” section and a search for dishes. The food is divided into categories. Promotional offers are placed in a separate category for the convenience of users.

Here you can add the number of dishes, or vice versa - remove them.

If you are worried that the order will not arrive on time, you can order it in advance by selecting the desired day and time.

For representatives of cafes and restaurants, we have developed a convenient administrative panel. Thanks to a well-thought-out order management system, no customer will go hungry!

The user can switch tabs to keep track of all new orders, as well as save data on previously completed / canceled orders.

Order details

All information about the order is collected in a convenient card that displays the name, order number, amount, choice of delivery, number of devices. And most importantly, we have highlighted customer comments and added confirmation from the user that he is familiar with this comment, in order to avoid misunderstandings and accidental inattention.

Shipping options

Table reservation - the client can book a table at any time

Pickup - allows the client to pick up the order on their own in the institution

On the spot - while in the establishment, or a few hours before arriving at the establishment, the client can place an order, thereby saving time on preparing his dish

Delivery - the user can order delivery by selecting a specific date and time

Order Items

The card displays all the dishes ordered by the client. Each position is indicated by its name, grams and quantity. As the order is completed, positions can be marked with different colors, depending on the degree of their readiness.
